Advancing Connectivity: Key Insights from the India-Japan Intellectual Conclave 2025

'Reviewing the State of Connectivity' was one of the significant sessions at the fifth edition of India-Japan Intellectual Conclave, at Guwahati, Assam on 06 & 07th February, 2025.  


The session aimed to provide an in-depth review of ongoing and planned initiatives to enhance connectivity from the North East region of India. With a focus on infrastructure development and its multifaceted impact. Panelists shared insights from their areas of experience and provided recommendations for advancing connectivity agendas effectively. 


Professor Kenmei Tsubota at the Department of Regional Development Studies, Faculty of Global and Regional Studies, Toyo University - Tokyo, shared his valuable insights alongside other esteemed panelists. Drawing from his areas of expertise, he provided strategic recommendations to enhance connectivity initiatives in Northeast India, fostering sustainable development and deeper regional integration.
